Woofoink began from bored doodles that I made one day at work. I had a little plastic dog, and a little plastic pig at my work station and i did a sketch of them having a conversation. From there, it became the official name of the sketchbook, and then the official name of my blog.

My wife volunteered to make a purse for "Handbags for Hope". They will auction off this purse and the proceeds will be given to a charity. She pulled out the sewing machine the other day and now we have sewing supplies all over the house. I can’t really complain since I manage to destroy the house pretty regularly. I’m liking the fabric she chose for the project and I think she might end up making one for herself once she gets this one finished. The feed dog is part of this sewing machine but I’m not exactly sure which part. I think it might be the bottom piece that comes up out of it.

There will more pics of my wife during this 365. She has been very supportive of me and my quest to take a picture everday for 2010.

Ella the Snow Dog

Ella is my sister’s new puppy. It was very difficult to get her to stand still for a portrait, she is so energetic. She is very affectionate, and always wants people to cuddle her or play with her, even perfect strangers. She is disappointed and makes a little sad cry when people she passes don’t cuddle her during her walks. She loves the snow and loves to meet other dogs. She almost never barks, but when she does, its a deep pleasing bark.
