This is Eric. He’s my blind cat. Even if he wasn’t blind, he wouldn’t be able to see me because I’m currently covered in leaves and hiding amongst the undergrowth…
It might be obvious that this is an out-take from this week’s ’52’. Spot the leaves on his back!
He’s 14 years old and has been blind for the last 2. He actually seems to be a rather happy cat and magically navigates his way around our gardens and back to the house. He likes it when you make clicking noises so that he can follow you around.
Anyway, I know it’s a CAT SHOT. And I know the black and white makes him really damn cute. It’s a bit of a sell-out I know, but… well… it’s a good photo damnit!

This is a very pretty male black cat living in my neighborhood, I think he’s 3-4 years old, I remember when he was a kitten and has a brother and a sister. He was posing for me on the ping-pong table in my garden.
